District Planning & Development

Development & Planning Section is one of the important Section under the control of the District Magistrate, Birbhum. All Developmental matters deals with this Section.

a) All development related schemes/Projects under MPLADS, BEUP, etc. are implemented by this department through the implementing/executing agencies.

b) Gitanjali Housing Scheme, PUP, JAP, various Tourism Projects, and Industry related matters, RSVY Misc., Science and Technology, ASIDE Projects are also implemented by this Section. Besides, that any other development work as an when assigned by the District Authority are also dealt with by this Section.
