Artificial Insemination – For Cattle & Buffalo for breed Up gradation and Cross Breeding with an aim to enhance milk production through Govt. centers, Pranibandhus , Pranisebi & A. I. Workers of MPCS and Others.
Animal Health services up to GP level – Treatment & Vaccination of different live stock animals, Disease investigation & control and Organization of Health Camps at the village level.
Enhancement of Fodder production – Transfer of cultivation, preservation & feeding technology & supply of improved variety seeds, cuttings, root slips, etc.
Live inputs production & supply – Running District Composite Farm, Organizing private sector breeding farm and procurement from out source.
Implementation of different Beneficiary oriented Schemes –
All ARD schemes under Department, convergence with MGNREGS and Extra-department (State & Centrally sponsored)Implementation of special projects under self-employment and poverty alleviation programme.
Organisation of Three tier Training programme – District level, Block level & G.P. level.
Organisation of Marketing network – Milk Co-operative Society, Livestock Co-operative Marketing Society, Processing Plant & selling centers.
Publicity – Exhibition, Prani Sampad Mela, Live show, Reading materials, Media broadcasting, etc.
